Gatlinburg is a fantastic tourist getaway with many restaurants, shops, hiking trails, as well as other fun activities in the area. The weather in Gatlinburg in August is very comfortable and ranges between an average low of 62 degrees and an average high of 85 degrees. Although most events are inside the Convention Center, we recommend planning for both indoor and outdoor temperatures.

The nearest gas station to Gatlinburg Convention Center is Marathon Gas located at 1141 Parkway (about 4 minutes away by car).

There are plenty of public and private paid parking lots in downtown Gatlinburg with some right next to the Convention Center, and the City has a paid lot on Reagan Drive close to the Convention Center! For additional parking information, CLICK HERE.

There are no shuttles provided by The Mountain. We recommend looking at Lyft, Uber and Taxis in the area for transfer to and from the venue and your rooming accommodations. In addition, Gatlinburg offers a Trolley System that may be useful throughout your stay.

Many lodging properties are close enough to allow a short walk to the Convention Center.  For those staying further away, we recommend calling for a taxi or ride share to the venue. In addition, Gatlinburg offers a free Trolley System that may be useful throughout your stay.
